Job summary

Majestic Care of Southport, part of Majestic Care, is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) on a PRN basis to join a geriatric rehab team. The role focuses on implementing individualized ADL and mobility-focused therapy under an OT supervisor in a skilled nursing setting.

Ideal candidates hold an OTA degree, Indiana COTA licensure, and 1–2 years in geriatric or SNF care, with PDPM and documentation familiarity considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program required.
• Current state licensure as a COTA in Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT interventions per supervising OT's plan.
• Assist residents with ADLs and mobility activities.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT.
• Support adaptive equipment usage and caregiver instruction.
• Document sessions accurately per policies and regulations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for care planning.
