Avir Trilogy at Avir at Eagle Pass is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join its in-house therapy team in Eagle Pass, Texas. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide skilled therapy aimed at improving residents' independence and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Active Texas COTA license
• License in good standing with applicable licensing boards
• LTC/SNF or geriatric experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Providing individualized therapeutic interventions
• Implementing treatment plans under OT supervision
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living
• Monitoring and reporting resident progress
• Educating residents and families on therapy goals
• Completing timely and accurate documentation
• Communicating progress to the supervising OT
• Collaborating with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team
