Job summary

United Methodist Communities in Newton, NJ seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join Bristol Glen, a UMC community. The role offers full-time, day shift and competitive hourly pay of $27.96–$31.45 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Therapy Program.
• Current and active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in New Jersey.
• 1-2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as established by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ functional abilities and daily living skills
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist
• Provide support and encouragement during therapy activities
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately and timely in accordance with state and facility guidelines
