Job summary

ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our collaborative rehabilitation team serving patients throughout Southern Delaware, specifically Kent County. You will help patients maximize independence, safety, and quality of life within their homes, enjoying meaningful one-on-one interactions with an experienced interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a COTA; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional independence and safety.
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and home safety strategies.
• Collaborate with OT, nurses, physicians, and other care team members.
• Serve primarily adult and geriatric patient populations in the home setting.
