Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure, as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Implements resident’s individualized treatment plan under the Occupational Therapist.
• Provides ADL and ROM therapy sessions.
• Performs ADL evaluations under OT direction.
• Organizes and leads treatment groups with OT input.
• Instructs residents and families in therapy techniques under OT supervision.
• Collaborates with rehab team to tailor programs to resident needs.
• Documents resident care accurately and timely.
• Attends care and staff meetings as OT representative.
• Maintains and reports equipment needs for repairs.
• Ensures compassionate, high-quality service respecting resident rights.
