Job summary

Alameda Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The role involves implementing OT programs, delivering treatments to residents under supervision, and collaborating with the rehab staff to promote independence and functioning.

The COTA will participate in a supportive, team-focused environment with flexible scheduling, per diem options, and benefits that include medical/dental/vision coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program; eligible for certification.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Implements resident’s individualized treatment plan under supervision.
• Provides OT treatments including ADLs and ROM exercises.
• Performs ADL evaluations under OT direction.
• Organizes and facilitates treatment groups with OT oversight.
• Instructs residents, families and caregivers in OT techniques.
• Works with rehab team to tailor programs to needs.
