Job summary

TMC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Baton Rouge, LA for a full-time position. You will support occupational therapy goals for patients in long-term care, guiding them through exercises and adaptive equipment use under supervision of an OT.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of an occupational therapist, execute therapeutic plans and guide patients in exercises.
• Assist in planning and delivering therapeutic activities tailored to patient needs.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes to the occupational therapist.
• Educate patients and families on the therapy process and home exercise programs.

Education
