Qualifications

• Must have a degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license or certification in Alabama is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living and working skills.
• Execute therapeutic plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Plan and select therapeutic activities tailored to individual patient needs.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the occupational therapist.
• Educate patients and families about therapy processes and adaptive equipment.
