Job summary

Ramseur Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Ramseur, NC seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide comprehensive therapy under supervision. You will document progress, secure physician orders, and support the interdisciplinary rehab team.

Qualifications include a BA or Associate's degree in OT, current state license, and preferred SNF experience. This is a full-time, on-site role with a focus on quality resident care and professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must hold BA or Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy, recognized by the AOTA.
• Holds current license/registration in the state.
• SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of an OTR and state guidelines.
• Document daily participation and progress; obtain OTR co-signature.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as indicated by Supervisor.
• Act as rehab delegate to the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete billing logs and bill patients for OT services.
• Supervise junior COTA staff or students as needed.
