Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Newberry, SC is seeking a Full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our therapist-led team. You will provide individualized therapy under supervision, support activities of daily living, and document progress for ongoing care planning.

We offer benefits starting in the first month, a competitive hourly pay up to $34 based on experience, and flexible schedules (full-time and part-time).

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program from an accredited school.
• NBCOT certification required to practice as an OTA.
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a COTA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized therapy under OT supervision, focusing on activities of daily living.
• Monitor patient progress and document accurately for care planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to educate patients and families on exercises and adaptive equipment.
• Lead or assist with therapeutic activities and daily living tasks to support patient engagement.
