Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to assist with patient-centered goals and rehabilitation under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities include following treatment plans, recording data, adapting techniques, and participating in rounds to improve patient outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site role with comprehensive benefits and requires a Florida COTA license.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy; Florida COTA license required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry 25 lbs.
• Strong communication and reading/comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow established treatment plans to set measurable goals for ADL/IADL and functional independence.
• Record, monitor and review clinical data; provide feedback for plan modifications.
• Adapt therapeutic techniques under supervision to meet patient needs.
• Participate in rounding and respond to patient needs to improve outcomes.
