Job summary

AdviniaCare is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. You will assist in implementing individualized treatment plans and help patients regain independence in activities of daily living.

You will collaborate with therapists and healthcare professionals, participate in assessments, educate patients and families, and contribute to compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment.

Qualifications

• Current COTA certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited OT assistant program.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in development and implementation of treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments to identify patient needs and progress.
• Design and implement OT interventions to improve ADLs and cognition.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and maintain records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers to promote independence.
