Job summary

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Current registration with the Nevada Board of Occupational Therapy.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's in OT preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address cognitive, physical, and emotional needs.
• Conduct occupational therapy sessions with residents, focusing on activities of daily living, cognitive rehabilitation, and sensory integration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
• Document resident progress and treatment plans in accordance with organizational guidelines.
• Adapt to changing situations and priorities, while maintaining high-quality care and services.
