Sterling Therapy Providers is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Stamford, CT. The role supports residents under supervision of an OT to advance independence and functioning through targeted OT treatments.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, conducting ADL and ROM activities, organizing groups, and collaborating with the rehab team. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this full-time/part-time role.

Responsibilities

• Implements resident’s individualized treatment plan under the supervision of the OT.
• Provides OT treatments including ADLs and ROM exercises.
• Performs ADL evaluations under OT direction.
• Organizes and facilitates treatment groups with OT input.
• Instructs residents, families, and caregivers on OT techniques.
• Collaborates with rehab team to develop resident programs.
• Maintains documentation for all treated residents.
• Participates in resident care and staffing meetings as OT representative.
• Cleans and maintains equipment; reports repairs.
• Ensures high-quality service in a compassionate environment.
