Requirements include an Associate Degree in OTA, current state COTA license with NBCOT certification, and ideally 1 year of prior COTA experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required for the OTA program.
• Current, unencumbered state COTA license; NBCOT certification required.
• 1 year of prior experience as a COTA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.
