Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The COTA will work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to provide rehabilitation services to patients experiencing physical, mental, emotional, or developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for helping others and improving their quality of life through personalized therapy programs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Assist occupational therapists in evaluating patients' functional abilities and limitations

- Develop and implement customized treatment plans to help patients achieve their therapy goals

- Conduct therapeutic activities to improve patients' fine motor skills, coordination, flexibility, and strength

- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and techniques to promote independence and wellness

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

- Associate's degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program

- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
