Job summary

Select Medical’s NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient center in Connellsville, PA is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide quality patient care and help patients return to athletics, work, life, and activities they love. Ideal candidates will have pediatric experience and a passion for maximizing function.

Position is part-time (Monday - Friday) at 2614 Memorial Blvd, with hourly pay from $20.00 to $27.00, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program.
• State COTA license (or license eligible).
• CPR certification is required.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Observe, report progress and document patient care.
• Educate patients on tasks and break down activities prior to treatment.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with QA policies and regulations.
• Under the direction of an OT, optimize patients’ functional abilities.

Our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient center is seeking a licensed COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) to provide quality patient care. Responsibilities

• Detail-Oriented: Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
• Education: Teach patients new ways of approaching tasks and how to break down activities into achievable components.
• High Standard of Care: Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/procedures and applicable regulations and corporate policies
• Personalized Treatment: Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, optimize patients’ functional abilities and skills.
