Job summary

AdviniaCare in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who wants to practice differently, focusing on person-centered care and meaningful relationships with residents.

You will support OTs in designing and implementing individualized plans, assess patients, and collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team to promote independence and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with physical, emotional, and cognitive impairments
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and needs
• Design and implement interventions to improve activities of daily living, cognitive function, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers to promote healthy habits and long-term independence
