Interim HealthCare in Muskegon, MI is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide home care OT services under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will build rapport with patients and families and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes patient education, documentation, attendance at care conferences, and adherence to the plan of care. Michigan licensure, CPR, and a valid driver's license are required; home care experience preferred.

• CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the occupational therapist in evaluations of patient function.
• Prepares clinical and progress notes and helps develop the plan of treatment.
• Educates patient and family in home therapy programs and equipment use.
• Coordinates visits with the occupational therapist and other personnel.
• Participates in case conferences and in-services; maintains communication with care team.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition to ensure quality care.
