Job summary

Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. in Fairfax, VA is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to implement therapy programs created by the Occupational Therapist.

Qualifications

• Maintains certification preferred by NBCOT.
• Minimum one-year experience in acute care, outpatient, community health, or home health in the past two years preferred.

Responsibilities:

Fairfax Nursing Center is in need of hiring a caring and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. The COTA will be responsible for implementing programs developed by the Occupational Therapist in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will also collaborate with facility staff to enhance the physical, mental and social well-being for patients.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from a school of Occupational Therapy Assistant accredited with the American Occupational Therapy Association
• Maintains certification through the American Occupational Therapy Certification Boardpreferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience in an acute care facility, outpatient setting, community health service or Home Health agency in the past two years as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) preferred.
