Job summary

Six Flags Carowinds in Charlotte seeks friendly, energetic team players to entertain guests by bringing Peanuts characters to life. You will pose for photos and create memorable storytelling moments in Camp Snoopy.

Must submit proof of height or attend an in-person audition. Responsibilities include performing in costume, interacting with guests, and ensuring safety on set. Availability for weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays is needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with children of all ages.
• Must be physically able to handle the demands of a full body costume, including high heat, limited visibility, and limited mobility.
• Previous experience in children’s theater, character costume performance, or related experience is a plus.
• People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.
• Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create in-park Meet & Greet experiences portraying Peanuts characters.
• Interact with guests and associates with respect and courtesy.
• Perform character walks in costume using trained nonverbal interaction.
• Maintain and clean costume as required.
• Assist as character attendant/usher ensuring safety on set.
