Job summary

Carowinds is seeking enthusiastic team players to bring beloved Peanuts characters to life for guests of all ages. You will pose for photos, entertain with storytelling in Camp Snoopy, and help create unforgettable memories for visitors.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage with guests of all ages.
• Experience in children's theater or costume performance is a plus.
• Comfortable wearing a full-body costume and performing in high heat.

Responsibilities

• Create FUN Meet & Greet experiences for guests by portraying Peanuts characters.
• Interact with guests and associates with courtesy and respect.
• Perform character walks in costume and entertain guests through nonverbal interaction.

Responsibilities

• Performscharacterwalksincostumeentertainingguestsusingnonverbalinteractionastrained.
• Maintaincostume,including cleaning,brushing,etc.
• Actsasa characterattendant/usherwhenneededgreetingguestsandensuringperformersafetyonset.

• Ability to interact with children of all ages.
• Must be physically able to handle the demands of a full body costume. This includes high heat, limited visibility, and limited mobility.
• Previous experience in children’s theater, character costume performance, or related experience is a plus.
• People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.
• Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
