Job summary

Walt Disney Imagineering in Orlando, FL seeks a Costume Buying intern to source fabrics, garments, and trims for operational/character costumes. You will process orders with SAP, oversee warehouse stock, and prepare garment bid packages for suppliers.

Eligibility includes enrollment as a junior/senior in Merchandising/Textiles, 18+, and unrestricted work authorization with a reliable schedule for the internship running January 2027 to June 2027.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a college/university program in Merchandising, Textiles, Theater Stage Management, or related field.
• Be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Willing to learn new software and processes for procurement.
• Strong organization and communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Source garments, fabrics, trims, and notions for operational and character costumes.
• Process orders and monitor delivery dates using SAP.
• Manage warehouse inventory and perform withdrawal transactions.
• Attend vendor visits and build garment bid packages for commodities.
