Job summary

Disney Live Entertainment invites applications for a Costume Buying intern in Orlando, FL. The role supports researching fabrics and garments for operational and character costumes, processes SAP-based orders, and coordinates with vendors and warehouses.

Must be enrolled in a relevant program and eligible to work in the US. Position timeframe is January 2027 to June 2027, with potential housing opportunities for Florida-based interns and a pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a Junior or Senior in Merchandising, Textiles, Theater Stage Management or related field.
• Able to use SAP, Yunique PLM, SharePoint and MS Office suite (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Strong planning, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Research source garments, fabrics, trims, and notions for costumes with photo documentation
• Process orders and track delivery dates in SAP for fabrics, trims, notions, and garments
• Oversee warehouse inventory and perform withdrawal transactions as needed
• Participate in vendor visits and industry tradeshows; assemble garment bid packages
