Job summary

Disney Live Entertainment in Orlando, FL is offering a Costume Buying intern role within the Costume Buying Department. You will source fabrics, trims, and garments for operational and character costumes, and partner with vendors to manage orders and timelines.

The internship runs January 2027 to June 2027. Applicants must be enrolled, 18+, have unrestricted work authorization, and a valid US driver’s license. Housing opportunities may be available for Florida-based interns.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of fabrics and garment construction concepts.
• Familiarity with global sourcing and shipping processes.
• Willingness to learn new software programs.
• Strong planning, organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-functional teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Research/source fabrics, trims, garments, and notions for costumes with documentation.
• Process orders and track delivery dates using SAP for fabrics and garments.
• Manage warehouse inventory and withdrawals as needed.
• Attend local vendor visits and industry tradeshows; build garment bid packages.
