Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC in West Palm Beach is seeking a Cost / Project Accountant to join the onsite team and serve as the primary accounting resource for the local office. You will partner with project leadership and a larger New York accounting group to keep financials accurate and on track.

The role includes managing project accounting, cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and WIP reporting, plus preparing owner billings, SOVs, and cost-to-complete analyses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in Cost, Project, or Construction accounting preferred.
• Construction management/real estate experience preferred.
• CMiC and/or Textura experience highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, WIP, billing, forecasting, and cost-to-complete.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting, cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and financial reporting.
• Prepare owner billings, SOVs, lien waivers, and project-related financial documentation.
• Prepare project forecasts, cost-to-complete analyses, and variance reporting.
• Track budgets, change orders, commitments, procurement, and project costs.
• Review invoices and requisitions for accuracy, contractual compliance, and budget alignment.
• Support monthly close, accruals, WIP reporting, and financial reporting.
• Identify project financial risks and partner with project leadership to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate financial data within accounting and project management systems.
• Partner with the New York-based accounting team and support process improvements.

A growing construction management firm is seeking a Cost / Project Accountant to join its West Palm Beach office. This is a hands-on role and the primary accounting resource in the local office, partnering closely with project leadership and a larger accounting team based in New York.

Compensation: $120,000-140,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting, cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and financial reporting
• Prepare owner billings, SOVs, lien waivers, and project-related financial documentation
• Prepare project forecasts, cost-to-complete analyses, and variance reporting
• Track budgets, change orders, commitments, procurement, and project costs
