JOB OVERVIEW:

Assist Server in providing quality food and beverage service to guests courteously and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and equipment. Stock all wares and equipment needed for service.

REPORTS TO: Assistant F&B Manager / Area F&B Manager / F&B Manager

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal: Staff in IRD, Costa Grill, Bar, Kitchen/Stewarding, Housekeeping, and Engineering.

External: Resort guest/visitors and resident guest/visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

• Food handling certification.
• Minimum 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal.
• Provide legible communication and directions.
• Compute basic arithmetic.
• Ability to:
• perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• prioritize, organize, and follow up.
• be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.

• Previous experience in a similar position.
• Certification of previous training in alcohol awareness program.
• Certifications of previous training in sanitation.
• Certification in CPR.
• Previous guest relations training.
• Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish or other.
