Job summary

Withum seeks a Cost Segregation Manager to lead engagements and mentor staff across diverse real estate assets. You will oversee projects, advise clients, and partner with leadership to grow the practice.

Based in any U.S. office with a hybrid schedule, you will manage budgets, review analyses for IRS compliance, and contribute to business development and thought leadership within the Cost Segregation group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of cost segregation, construction consulting, or related experience.
• CPA/EA/CCSP or similar certification is a plus.
• Proven track record leading cost segregation engagements and advising depreciation strategies.
• Strong knowledge of IRS cost segregation guidance and depreciation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of cost segregation engagements for various real estate assets.
• Serve as primary client contact and trusted advisor throughout engagements.
• Review and approve technical analyses and final deliverables for IRS compliance.
• Oversee site inspections, cost analyses, and asset classifications by teams.
• Drive practice growth through business development and client relationship expansion.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff and supervisors.
• Collaborate with partners and leadership on proposals and growth initiatives.
• Participate in client presentations, webinars, and thought leadership activities.
• Manage engagement economics, budgets, staffing, and resources.
