Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; 3–5 years of reimbursement/finance/accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 including Excel; Workday experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; attention to detail; ability to work independently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize data for Medicare and Medicaid cost report filings.
• Compile, validate, and maintain supporting schedules and documentation for cost reports.
• Analyze accounts to ensure proper costs are in correct cost centers.
• Respond to audits by providing requested documentation.
• Communicate with managers and facility personnel regarding cost reports and audits.
• Assist with Medicare/Medicaid bad debt analysis for accounting, cost reporting, and audit purposes.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts related to cost reporting; work independently and meet deadlines.
