Job summary

CareSource is seeking a Manager, Finance - Cost Reporting to lead the cost reporting processes within the finance department. This role ensures accuracy and completeness of financial data, prepares detailed cost reports, and analyzes information to support strategic planning and decision making.

The role collaborates with multiple departments to gather data, maintain and improve internal reporting systems, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or related field is required.
• MBA or equivalent experience preferred, with healthcare finance exposure.
• 4–5 years healthcare finance or reimbursement experience, Medicaid cost reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in cost report preparation with accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze cost data to identify trends and reimbursement optimization opportunities.
• Support internal reporting system enhancements for data accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines in financial reporting.
• Prepare management reports and summarize reimbursement impacts for leadership.
