Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 6+ years of cost estimating experience or equivalent.
• Travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook and Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, presentation and planning skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prepare and execute the cost estimating process.
• Attend meetings and visit jobsites to gather information on materials and labor.
• Read blueprints and technical documents to prepare estimates.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, clients and contractors.
• Consult with industry experts to discuss estimates.
• Utilize software to calculate estimates and generate reports.
• Develop project plans for the duration of the project.
• Prepare estimates for clients and other business managers.
• Assist sales teams with estimates and bids for clients.
