Hargrove is seeking a Cost Manager to oversee project cost control for capital and maintenance efforts. You will forecast, report, validate invoices, monitor budgets, and provide financial analysis to ensure funding limits are met.
You will act as a key liaison between Project Managers, contractors, accounting, and client stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information and drive cost optimization across projects.
The Cost Manager is responsible for overseeing all project cost control activities associated with capital projects, maintenance projects, and turnaround efforts. This position provides cost forecasting, cost reporting, invoice validation, budget monitoring, and financial analysis to ensure projects are delivered within approved funding limits. The Cost Manager serves as a key liaison between Project Managers, contractors, accounting teams, and client stakeholders to provide accurate and timely project financial information.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
Certification: No certification is required for this position.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost control, cost management, project accounting, or related roles.
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
