The Associate Director at Cumming Group is an entry-level management role within the Cost & Commercial Management group. Based in San Diego, you will oversee client teams, prepare fee proposals, negotiate agreements, and ensure quality cost estimates across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and billing processes.
• Experience in fee proposal development and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client communications and supervise the Cost & Commercial Management team.
• Promote repeat business and build favorable client references.
• Maintain monthly project budgets and forecast expenditures.
• Responsible for monthly billing and projections.
• Lead staff development, training, coaching, and mentoring.
• Fee proposal development and management.
• Coordinate with other business units for integrated service delivery.
• Mentor team on measurement methods, contracts, and delivery methods.
• Develop new or existing client relationships and generate revenue.
• Manage revenue and margins for assigned areas.
• Meet business development goals and profitability targets.
• Demonstrate ability to sell services across service lines.
• Attend industry events.
