Christian Care Ministry seeks a Customer Care Specialist (Cost Management Associate) in Melbourne, FL. You will manage a large caseload, coordinate medical records, authorizations, and refunds while maintaining clear case notes.

You will interact via phone, email, and fax with members and providers, upholding CCM’s mission-based service approach. The role emphasizes faith-based values, accuracy, and empathy in day-to-day operations, with opportunities to contribute to cost management initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of administrative or phone-based customer service experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience reading medical records or medical billing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with members and providers for medical records and authorizations.
• Obtain refunds on inaccurately shared bills with providers.
• Guide parties through established processes and document case notes.
• Handle multiple cases and maintain notes in billing systems (SalesForce, CSI).
• Communicate guidelines to providers and keep leadership informed of high-risk cases.
• Offer to pray with members and providers on calls.
