Honda is seeking a Cost Innovation project lead – Purchasing to drive cost reduction across SxS/ATV/PE/L&G products. You will manage CR ideas, promote cost-saving design changes, and optimize manufacturing processes with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree with 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of relevant work.
• 1-3 years in procurement, supplier development, or purchasing.

• Strong communication, multitasking, decision-making, and team motivation skills are essential.

The Cost Innovation (CI) project lead – Purchasing is responsible for driving Cost Reduction (CR) activities across SxS/ATV/PE/L&G products.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage CR ideas using Honda’s global database, promote cost-saving design changes in mass production, optimize manufacturing processes with suppliers, develop new supplier partnerships, and formulate parts procurement strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s or Associate degree with 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of relevant work. 1-3 years in procurement, supplier development, or purchasing required. Must understand procurement processes, cost estimation, and cross-functional operations. Strong communication, multitasking, decision-making, and team motivation skills are essential.
