Job summary

Norfolk Iron & Metal Company is seeking a Cost Estimator to join our team in Norfolk, NE. The role focuses on creating accurate price quotes and processing orders in a timely manner while aligning with customer expectations.

The ideal candidate will have CAD knowledge, proficiency with MS Office (including Excel), and the ability to work well in a collaborative environment. A quarterly incentive program and strong benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate within all departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Prepare price quotes or orders in a timely manner as per customer expectations.
• Develop understanding of process types to increase sales growth and profitability.
• Work with the sales team to generate accurate estimates that meet customer’s needs and expectations.
• Learn product offerings, labor / material costs, and company processes capabilities.
