Sunland Group, Inc. is seeking a CostEstimator for immediate placement in our Houston, TX office. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for providing detailed construction cost estimates based upon conceptual documents as well as schematic, design development, and construction documents. The Estimator will interface with other estimating disciplines as well as the other members of the Project Team and Owner Representatives.

Requirements:

• Team player, excellent interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitude
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Responsible, ethical, and conscientious nature
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• 3-10 years of construction estimating experience
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications for majority of disciplines
• Good working knowledge of construction techniques and production rates
• Ability to provide cost from Conceptual to Construction Documents
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferences:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar field of study .
• Field experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
