Job summary

Parsons is seeking a skilled Cost Engineer to coordinate estimates and ensure quality control of all bid and negotiated project costs. The role involves tracking budgets, validating funding for changes, and producing timely cost analyses.

You will work under the Cost Control Manager to support master schedules, assist in cost evaluations, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to manage construction contract budgets.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field required.
• Cost control certifications such as CCP are a plus.
• Entry level – College degree or 4 years' experience; Advanced – minimum of five years in project controls or cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and evaluation of project financials and status reports.
• Track approved contract budgets and issue progress reports.
• Review cost proposals and verify basis of estimated cost and direct/indirect costs.
• Maintain change management logs and assist in contract change negotiations.
