Job summary

WSP is seeking a Cost Controls Specialist to join their Project Controls team in South Jordan, UT or Reno, NV. You will maintain the project’s cost management system, process budget transfers, validate invoices, and prepare monthly cost reports.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of cost controls experience on large-scale mining or heavy civil projects.
• Experience tracking commitments, accruals, and forecasts using structured cost management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project cost management system and track actuals against the control budget.
• Process budget transfers and ensure updates to the cost baseline.
• Validate invoices and maintain the contingency drawdown log.
