Job summary

Myers & Sons Construction is seeking a Project Cost/Controls Engineer for a significant project widening the 105 freeway in Los Angeles County, aimed at improving mobility ahead of the 2028 Olympics. You will develop a deep understanding of project documents, ensuring proper financial performance and reporting, and you will work closely with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred for this role.
• 2+ years of experience in highway or structures construction projects in California.
• Experience with subcontracts and self-perform work required.

Responsibilities

• Help solve problems that occur during construction on site.
• Manage documents within Procore and maintain contract understanding.
• Monitor project costs and assist in managing quality control.
