Job summary

PM2CM, Inc. is seeking a senior cost estimator to support budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting across multiple projects.

This role interfaces with project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction managers to drive accurate cost control and budgeting using advanced Excel techniques. Candidates should have 7+ years of full-time cost estimating experience in facilities or school construction, strong knowledge of current local costs, and proven ability to develop and compare cost

Qualifications

• 7 years of full-time experience in construction cost estimating for facilities or school projects.
• Experience in cost controls, budgeting, and cost forecasting.
• Knowledge of current local construction labor and material costs.
• Ability to develop scope of work from RFI/RFC and estimate detailed costs.
• Ability to compare independent estimates with contractor proposals to identify differences.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes MS Excel to analyze and aggregate data related to budgets, costs, and forecasts.
• Assist in developing project budgets, tracking actual costs, and forecasting costs across multiple projects.
• Interface with stakeholders including project managers, engineers, procurement, and construction managers.
• Demonstrate strong communication, initiative, and teamwork.
• Possess experience in cost controls, budgeting, or cost forecasting; Excel proficiency required.
• Maintain working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
