Job summary

Weltmann Lighting, LLC is seeking a proactive Cost Control Estimator to join our team in Hicksville, NY. You will provide administrative support for project launches, organize documentation, coordinate communication, and help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

The role requires at least 2 years in construction estimating, strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in construction estimating.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, drawings, and specs for scope and accuracy.
• Identify scope changes, missing information and risks.
• Coordinate with PMs and estimators to clarify client expectations.
• Prepare change order pricing based on updated scope.
• Collaborate with PMs to validate scope and pricing.
• Format proposals and attach required backups.
• Manage RFQs to vendors; track pricing and delivery.
• Maintain updated quote logs and audit-ready pricing records.
