Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a detail-oriented Services Cost Management Analyst to join our technology services organization. You will bridge accounting principles with data modeling, analysis, and technical solution design.

You will design relational data models, build Power BI dashboards, perform data mining in Excel, and translate business needs into technical specifications while communicating findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data analytics, or related technical field.
• Foundational understanding of finance and accounting principles.
• Experience with SQL and relational data structures.
• Experience working with data analysis tools, including Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret basic computer code logic.
• Experience building and editing Power BI dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Apply solid accounting knowledge to ensure data integrity and accurate financial reporting.
• Design and implement relational data models aligned with accounting principles and business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to design and implement technical solutions that improve data structures and reporting accuracy.
• Perform advanced data mining and manipulation using Excel and other tools; build and edit Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Read and interpret basic computer code logic to support solution design.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for cost or process optimization.
• Summarize findings and recommendations for stakeholders; connect analyses to strategic goals.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and technology teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
