A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a Cost Analyst (Finance) to support a value creation program focused on reducing direct material costs for current production vehicles and parts. This role emphasizes building solid business cases and defensible analyses within a cross-functional team.

Based in Auburn Hills, MI, onsite, the position offers a standard M-F schedule with 8-5 hours and pay at $43.77 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in Purchasing Finance, Product Finance, Manufacturing Finance, FP&A, or similar analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills; strong data accuracy.
• Experience building business cases and presenting recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cost reduction programs, savings validation, and supplier negotiation support.
• Automotive and/or manufacturing finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, validate, and defend financial business cases for cost reduction.
• Partner daily with cross-functional teams to size opportunities and support negotiations.
• Analyze supplier quotes and cost drivers using should-cost thinking and cost breakdowns.
• Create supplier fact packs and negotiation support materials; track progress to savings targets.
• Monitor savings governance, documentation standards, and approval requirements.
• Interpret complex data across multiple systems; communicate status, risks, and recommendations.
• Support reporting for purchasing finance and cost savings concepts.
• Maintain high accuracy in financial models, trackers, and presentations.
