Job summary

Linde Inc. in Port Arthur, TX is seeking a Cost Analyst to lead the monthly close review, analyze actuals against forecasts and prior periods, and prepare concise variance analyses for senior management.

You will build cost models, coordinate planning and budgeting, and partner with cost center leaders to drive data-driven decisions. Proficiency in Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, with JD Edwards/OBIEE experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of finance experience.
• Strong Excel skills; working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint.
• JD Edwards and OBIEE experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Hyperion is a plus.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly financial close review and variance analysis.
• Build and maintain cost models to track performance.
• Coordinate annual planning and budgeting across cost centers.
• Prepare concise presentations for senior management.
• Manage forecasting process and coordinate with regional teams.
• Support reporting tools and user training in JD Edwards and OBIEE.
