Job summary

Harris & Associates seeks a Senior Cost Controller to manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls for complex capital projects across multiple funding sources. You will collaborate with PMs and the PMO to analyze EACs, ETCs, change orders, and ensure alignment with financial objectives.

The role requires 5–10 years in program/cost controls, a BS/BA in engineering or related field, and proficiency with Deltek Costpoint and Proliance.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years professional experience in program and/or cost controls on a construction program.
• BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related degree; additional qualifying experience may substitute education.
• Experience through entire project life cycle; understanding of cost/schedule management, earned value, forecasting, risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the accuracy and integrity of project budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with PMs for white papers, baselining, and funding for capital projects.
• Participate in EAC reviews with PMO for variance analysis and root cause.
• Allocate and manage ETCs including change orders, task orders, and PBAs.
• Contribute to cost mitigation by analyzing cost trends and risks.
• Perform monthly budget & cost reconciliations and analyze variances.
