Job summary

Naval Systems, Inc. (NSI) seeks a Journeyman Cost Analyst to support the Cost Analysis and Estimating Directorate for Naval Aviation Systems. You will work with engineers and logisticians to develop system cost estimates used in acquisition and sustainment planning.

Required: 3–7 years in cost estimation or IPM with at least two years in DoD weapon system cost estimating; TS with SCI eligibility. Location: Pax River, MD, with a private-sector benefits package and a dedicated, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• 3-7 years of cost estimating experience or IPM experience including a minimum of two years cost estimating in DoD Acquisition Weapon System Cost estimating.
• Clearance: TS with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Formulate system cost estimates for Naval Aviation Systems as part of an integrated product team with engineers and logisticians.
• Translate technical and financial risk into cost estimates and apply risk to estimate confidence, budgeting, and acquisition planning.
• Modify and extend existing methodologies and use advanced techniques as required.
