Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking a Cost Analyst to join our Sangerfield, NY manufacturing facility. You will compile production cost reports, manage the Navision cost system, and support engineering with cost data and model maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cost system in Navision, determining bills of material, preparing margin information for the General Manager, and determining option material and pricing.
• Maintenance of models and options in Navision.
• Assists with the physical inventory (checking accuracy, tracking, and pulling cards).
• Support and occasional assistance to engineering.

FLSA Status: Non - Exempt

Summary: Compiles production or sales cost reports on a unit or total basis for a department or working unit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintains cost system in Navision, determining bills of material, preparing margin information for the General Manager, and determining option material and pricing.
• Maintenance of models and options in Navision.
• Assists with the physical inventory (checking accuracy, tracking, and pulling cards).
• Support and occasional assistance to engineering.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; high-level proficiency with Excel
• Oracle experience would be a plus
• Strong Math skills and ability to solve complex calculations
• Critical thinking
