Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is hiring a Cost Analyst to join our Sangerfield, NY manufacturing facility. You will compile production cost reports, maintain cost systems in Navision, and support engineering with cost analysis for options and materials.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's degree or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and a solid foundation in accounting and financial analysis. Oracle experience would be a plus, and attention to detail is essential for accurate budgeting and

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college; or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Strong foundation in accounting and financial analysis.
• Proficient in MS Office with high Excel proficiency.
• Ability to perform complex calculations and critical thinking.

Summary:

Compiles production or sales cost reports on a unit or total basis for a department or working unit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains cost system in Navision, determining bills of material, preparing margin information for the General Manager, and determining option material and pricing.
• Maintenance of models and options in Navision.
• Assists with the physical inventory (checking accuracy, tracking, and pulling cards).
• Support and occasional assistance to engineering.

Education And/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; high-level proficiency with Excel
• Oracle experience would be a plus
• Strong Math skills and ability to solve complex calculations
• Critical thinking
