Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Sangerfield, NY seeks a Cost Analyst to compile production cost reports and maintain the Navision cost system. The role supports engineering, inventories, and pricing decisions within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree or equivalent and strong accounting/financial analysis skills, plus proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office. This non-exempt position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Compiles production or sales cost reports on a unit or total basis for a department or working unit.
• Maintains cost system in Navision, determining bills of material, preparing margin information for the General Manager, and determining option material and pricing.
• Maintenance of models and options in Navision.
• Assists with the physical inventory (checking accuracy, tracking, and pulling cards).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintains cost system in Navision, determining bills of material, preparing margin information for the General Manager, and determining option material and pricing.
• Maintenance of models and options in Navision.
• Assists with the physical inventory (checking accuracy, tracking, and pulling cards).
• Support and occasional assistance to engineering.

Education and/or Experience

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; high-level proficiency with Excel
• Oracle experience would be a plus
• Strong Math skills and ability to solve complex calculations
• Critical thinking
